Prayer Sellers' Trade Is Booming in Islamic Iran

In Iran there is "prayer sellers" who promise to intercede with the divine to solve all manner of life's problems which is illegal from clerics rule. YaAli is one of the backstreet spiritual guides get his job increasingly after by Iranians seeking help from on high. He said that people from all walks of life mostly young women came to him to help them solve their problems. "There is also methods of the prayers but depending on the problems, some prayers which is written on a piece of paper should be burned and some should be put in a bowl of water, you should follow the instruction." YaAli said.


According to Islam, prayers have devine sources to and make a communication between God and his servants. For those who have the right religious knowledge, they won't used Prayer Seller to help them solve their problems. One of the customer named Mahoor said that she never see her boyfriend again after YaAli gave her the prayers. At that time she want prayers that will make him to marry her, but he says he doesn't have enough money to start a new life.
Iran's clerics also believe in the power of the prayer but they advise people againts using prayers that lack a religious basic.

Although the Iranian clerics say, no one of YaAli customer ask him about the basis of his knowledge, which he says it is founded on the Koran.
Marjan also one of the custemer said that it is not important where his knowledge come from because she just want her problem to be solve. And she said that some people especially women still refer to Prayer Seller to solve their problem as their last need.
