25 Students Belived to Cheat Entrance Test

Many students in Indonesia not confident with their own ability to answer many questions for doing entrance test to many University. 25 students that waiting for an entrance test in one of State University in Semarang believe to have cheated by using cell phone.

The entrance test's committee head, Supriadi Rustad told The Jakarta Post in Semarang that when exam supervisors caught 3 students using cell phones with headsets when doing the test. With that cell phones and headsets, students can listening to the a person's voice out there that gave the answers to that student.

On Wednesday, exam supervisor Nur Fatehah caught a female student from senior hight school in Kalimantan communicating with someone out there by using cell phone when doing the test. The girl hiding headset inside her headscaft.



On Thursday, supervisors caught again 2 students, 1 is a male from Indramayu and 1 more is a female from Kediri, doing the same thing. The girl also hide the cell phone inside the clothes and headset inside the headscraft. And the male hide the cell phone inside his specially-designed pants and headset inside his shirt.

The entrance test's committe said that they believed a syndicate is involved is the fraud. 3 people that known as the trickster caught stayed is the same hotel in Ungaran. They admitted that 25 students were stayed at the same hotel like them. Mostly of them are from outside of Semarang.. All had chosen medical schools at various famous University, like UGM, Brawijaya University, Diponegoro University, etc.

Victory Suit

Last month has been filled with excitement because of the world cup. It's not just the beauty of the game that we see but also the uniqueness of each player. Not only the players that we see but also those on the bench. People on the bench whether they're the coach assistant or players who have retired dressed so stylish. They watched the game with their suits. For example Netherlands's coach Burt van Marwijk often spotted on his bench wearing gray suits, also his assistant Frank de Boer also seen wearing similar suits. Also David Beckham England midfielder who watched the games from the bench wearing stylish three-piece suit. Now not only office employee who wears suits, suits have spread into other more casual occasions like sporting events or watching soccer matches. this kind of clothing have been internationally acclaimed as formal wear for many people around the globe, including Indonesia, even though this kind of outfit is not too suitable to be worn in Indonesia's hot weather. but Indonesian people still can use this kind of clothes.

Prayer Sellers' Trade Is Booming in Islamic Iran

In Iran there is "prayer sellers" who promise to intercede with the divine to solve all manner of life's problems which is illegal from clerics rule. YaAli is one of the backstreet spiritual guides get his job increasingly after by Iranians seeking help from on high. He said that people from all walks of life mostly young women came to him to help them solve their problems. "There is also methods of the prayers but depending on the problems, some prayers which is written on a piece of paper should be burned and some should be put in a bowl of water, you should follow the instruction." YaAli said.

According to Islam, prayers have devine sources to and make a communication between God and his servants. For those who have the right religious knowledge, they won't used Prayer Seller to help them solve their problems. One of the customer named Mahoor said that she never see her boyfriend again after YaAli gave her the prayers. At that time she want prayers that will make him to marry her, but he says he doesn't have enough money to start a new life.

Iran's clerics also believe in the power of the prayer but they advise people againts using prayers that lack a religious basic.

Although the Iranian clerics say, no one of YaAli customer ask him about the basis of his knowledge, which he says it is founded on the Koran.

Marjan also one of the custemer said that it is not important where his knowledge come from because she just want her problem to be solve. And she said that some people especially women still refer to Prayer Seller to solve their problem as their last need.

Pertamina Denies their Product Makes Problem

After the prices of basic commodities increase really fast and makes people in Indonesia complain about it, the Government monitoring of prices of basic commodities heading Ramadhan. From the results of monitoring prices of basic goods are relatively stable compared to almost all the previous days.

Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said the price of red peppers and red onion is decreased after a time to continue to soar. However, beef and chicken prices have increased.

"Prices have come down chili. And the price of onions dropped, which rose a little garlic. The price of chicken meat increased in the bottom 5%," said Mari Jatinegara market in East Jakart. Here's the list average price of basic foods in Jakarta’s Public Market as of July 24, 2010:

The Era of Ballet

At 18th century ballet has been presented to people for the first time when ballet still became a serious dramatic art form on par with the opera. But starts from 19th century, ballet has been influence by the social change at that era. From that time the styles of ballet has been changed to romantic ballet and began a new technique named pointework. The styles and technique were being develop and create the new one. Until the began of 20th century, ballet has a new styles that names Contemporary Ballet.


Classical Ballet

Classical Ballet is the most formal of the ballet styles, it adheres to traditional ballet technique. There are variations relating to area of origin, such as Russian Ballet, French Ballet, British Ballet and Italian Ballet. The Vaganova method , named after Agrippina Vaganova and the Cecchetti method, named after Enrico Cecchetti are Russian and Italian respectively and derive from the original French method.

Classical ballet is best known for its unique features and techniques, such as pointe work, turn-out of the legs, and high extensions; its graceful, flowing, precise movements; and its ethereal qualities.

Ballet, especially classical ballet, puts great emphasis on the method and execution of movement. A distinctive feature of ballet is the continuous outward rotation of the thighs from the hip, referred to as "turnout". The foundation of the dance consists of five basic positions, all performed with the turnout. Young dancers receive a rigorous education in their school's method of dance, which begins when they are young and ends with graduation from high school. Students are required to learn the names, meanings, and precise technique of each movement they learn. Emphasis is put on building strength mostly in the lower body, particularly the legs, and the core (also called the center or the abdominals) as a strong core is necessary for all movements in ballet, especially turns, and on developing flexibility and strong feet for dancing en pointe.

Contemporary Ballet

Contemporary ballet is a form of dance influenced by both classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique and use of pointe work from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set forth by schools of ballet technique. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floor work and turn-in of the legs.

George Balanchine is often considered to have been the first pioneer of contemporary ballet through the development of neoclassical ballet. One dancer who danced briefly for Balanchine was Mikhail Baryshnikov, an exemplar of Kirov Ballet training. Following Baryshnikov's appointment as artistic director of American Ballet Theatre in 1980, he worked with various modern choreographers, most notably Twyla Tharp. Tharp choreographed Push Comes To Shove for ABT and Baryshnikov in 1976; in 1986 she created In The Upper Room for her own company. Both these pieces were considered innovative for their use of distinc

tly modern movements melded with the use of pointe shoes and classically trained dancers—for their use of "contemporary ballet".

Twyla Tharp also worked with the Joffrey Ballet company, founded in 1957 by Robert Joffrey. She choreographed Deuce Coupe for them in 1973, using pop music and a blend of modern and ballet techniques. The Joffrey Ballet continued to perform numerous contemporary pieces, many choreographed by co-founder Gerald Arpino.

Today there are many contemporary ballet companies and choreographers. These includeAlonzo King and his company, Alonzo King's Lines Ballet; Complexions Contemporary Ballet, under the direction of Dwight Rhoden; Nacho Duato's Compañia Nacional de Danza; William Forsythe, who has worked extensively with the Frankfurt Ballet and today runs The Forsythe Company; and Jiří Kylián, currently the artistic director of the Nederlands Dans Theatre. Traditionally "classical" companies, such as the Kirov Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet, also regularly perform contemporary works.

Salsa Dance

Salsa is syncretic dance form with origins from Cuba, as the original meeting point of European and African cultures. Its movements originate inCuban Son, with strong influences from Mambo, Guaguanco, and other Afro-Cuban music.

Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are recognized solo forms, line dancing (suelta), and Rueda de Casino where groups of couples exchange partners in a circle. Salsa can be improvised or performed with a set routine. Salsa is popular throughout Latin America, and also in the United States, Spain, Japan, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany and Eastern Europe. At the initial developmental stage, Salsa movements originate from the Cuban Son dancing of the 1920s, more specifically through the beat of Son Montuno with strong influences from the dance of Danzon, Mambo, Guaguanco, and other Afro-Cuban folkloric dancing.

now salsa dancing is a rich blend of Latin-American and Western influences, namely from Puerto Rico, Colombia, and other dances such as Western and Ballroom dancing. Salsa traces a 90 year history in which there are a multiple evolutionary paths, sometimes split due to political and social influences. As result, today, there are three major salsa styles, namely Cuban Salsa (Casino), New York Style ("Mambo on 2"), and Los Angeles Style ("On 1"). Other Salsa branches include Colombian Salsa ("Cali-Style") and Miami-Style Salsa.

Every Salsa composition involves complex African percussion based around the Clave Rhythm (which has four types), though there can be moments when the clave is hidden for a while, often when quoting Charanga,Changüí, and Bomba. The key instrument that provides the core groove of a salsa song is the clave. Every instrument in a Salsa band is either playing with the clave (generally: congas, timbales, piano, tres guitar, bongos,claves (instrument), strings) or playing independent of the clave rhythm (generally: bass, maracas, güiro, cowbell). Melodic components of the music and dancers can choose to be in clave or out of clave at any point. However it is taboo to play or dance to the wrong type of clave rhythm (see salsa music). While dancers can mark the clave rhythm directly, it is more common to do so indirectly (with, for example, a shoulder movement). This allows the dancing itself to look very fluent as if the rest of the body is just moving untouched with the legs.

Oscar Claude Monet was a founder of French impressionist painting, and the most consistent and prolific practitioner of the movement's philosophy of expressing one's perceptions before nature, especially as applied to plein-air landscape painting.The term Impressionism is derived from the title of his painting Impression, Sunrise (Impression, soleil levant). Claude Monet was born on 14 November 1840 on the 5th floor of 45 rue Laffitte, in the ninth arrondissement of Paris. He was the second son of Claude Adolphe Monet and Louise Justine Aubrée Monet, both of them second-generation Parisians. On 20 May 1841, he was baptized in the local parish church, Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, as Oscar-Claude, but his parents called him simply Oscar. In 1845, his family moved to Le Havre in Normandy. His father wanted him to go into the family grocery business, but Monet wanted to become an artist. His mother was a singer. On the first of April 1851, Monet entered Le Havre secondary school of the arts. Locals knew him well for his charcoal caricatures, which he would sell for ten to twenty francs. Monet also undertook his first drawing lessons from Jacques-François Ochard, a former student of Jacques-Louis David. On the beaches of Normandy in about 1856/1857, he met fellow artist Eugène Boudin, who became his mentor and taught him to use oil paints. Boudin taught Monet "en plein air" (outdoor) techniques for painting. Both received the influence of Johan Barthold Jongkind. On 28 January 1857, his mother died. At the age of sixteen, he left school and went to live with his widowed childless aunt, Marie-Jeanne Lecadre.

Monet died of lung cancer on 5 December 1926 at the age of 86 and is buried in the Giverny church cemetery. Monet had insisted that the occasion be simple; thus only about fifty people attended the ceremony. His famous home, garden and waterlily pond were bequeathed by his son Michel, his only heir, to the French Academy of Fine Arts (part of the Institut de France) in 1966. Through the Fondation Claude Monet, the house and gardens were opened for visit in 1980, following restoration. In addition to souvenirs of Monet and other objects of his life, the house contains his collection of Japanese woodcut prints. The house is one of the two main attractions of Giverny, which hosts tourists from all over the world.

Plastic Surgery Never Stop

Plastic surgery now become a trend in the world. Example in Korea. The actual surgery is pretty quick and can be done in about ten minutes.
